I am constantly searching for my maternal grandfather in the 1930 Mexico Census records. Unfortunately I have not found Cayetano (Calletano) Cardenas. My mother’s birth certificate mentioned that he is from Tamazula de Gordiano. I came across this record of
Now this record is very hard to read. The reason I saved this one is because there are some Cardenas’ listed in Tamazula de Gordiano, which is where my paternal grandfather is supposed to be from. According to this 1930
This is one of the first 1930 Mexican Census records that I came across. I am not sure if this Primitivo Cardenas is my relative or not. My paternal great-grandfather has this name but the ages just don’t add up.
